Once again, the annual Swing Street Café has come to ACHS! There will be two shows, one on Friday, March tenth, and then again on Saturday, March eleventh. The show will feature the two Jazz Ensembles at ACHS and include other acts, including the Concert and Symphonic Bands on Friday night and the Wind Ensemble on Saturday. Select choirs will also perform, including Madrigals, Show Choir and Fortune 8. The band will transform the South Gym into a swing café for this performance. The scene will be complete with waiters, closely packed tables, and a main stage up front for the Jazz Bands. The show will last around two hours and contain many different styles of music. Jazz, rock, polkas, latin and more will be performed. Every year the show attracts many adults and students that are not affiliated with the band at all, but are just looking for a good time, so come one and come all! Doors open at seven o'clock on both nights and the show begins at 7:30.
Tickets will not be signed in advance, so come early to get a good seat.
Admission is six dollars for adults, three dollars for students and senior
citizens, and the show is free for children under five. |
